Sweet and Spicy Turkey Burger
Who doesn’t love a good burger?? I mean you really can’t go wrong… a burger is the ultimate comfort food!
When you’re trying to be healthier there are great burger options you can swap out the ground beef for ground chicken, bison or in this case I used lean ground turkey.
Making a swap like this can not only cut out calories but also fat… which leaves a little extra room for some cheese! What burger is complete without the cheese??! (answer- no burger I want to have! haha)
With just these few adjustment you have a healthier version of your favorite comfort food with so much flavor from the caramelized onions, sweet raspberry preserves, the nutty flavor of manchego cheese all topped off with a hint of spice from the jalapeños!
