Asian Marinated Chicken
November 3, 2014 |
This asian marinated chicken recipe is an easy dish to make.
Best of all, it’s a great way to mix things up when you’re sick of regular, bland chicken breasts and want to keep it healthy, flavorful and delicious.
Ingredients:
2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, trimmed
1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. honey
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. ginger
2 green onions, chopped
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Directions:
- For each chicken breast, trim and put saran wrap over it and pound it out with a meat mallet just so the thickness was the same on every piece (this way it cooks for evenly), then cut each breast in half.
- For the marinade, combine all ingredients except the chicken in a medium size bowl and whisk together until fully combined. Set aside.
- Once you have the chicken prepped, place it in a large ziploc bag or a shallow dish and pour marinade over chicken and set in the fridge for at least 6 hours (overnight if possible).
- When ready to cook, turn on grill to medium heat. Cook chicken for 15-20 minutes (depending on size of the chicken it may take a few minutes more or less), flipping after about 7-10 minutes.
